The Goal
The goal was to create a clean, visually consistent website that presented content clearly while remaining easy to navigate across devices. Working within Squarespace, I used custom CSS and JavaScript to extend the platform's default capabilities and create a more tailored user experience.

I was responsible for customizing the website's layout, improving content organization, and enhancing the user experience beyond what was possible with the default Squarespace templates.

Design Approach
My focus was on balancing aesthetics with usability. Rather than simply customizing templates, I looked at how content was presented, how users would move through the site, and how the website could better communicate the brand online.
What I Learned
This project reinforced the importance of understanding platform constraints and finding creative solutions within them. By extending Squarespace with custom code, I was able to create a more intentional and flexible user experience while maintaining the ease of use that makes the platform valuable for clients.
Next Improvements
- • Continue refining mobile layouts and spacing based on user feedback and real-world usage
- • Conduct stakeholder reviews to identify opportunities for improving content structure and user journeys
- • Improve page performance through image optimization and third-party script auditing
- • Strengthen SEO foundations with enhanced metadata, page structure, and content optimization
- • Create additional reusable content sections to make future updates easier and more scalable
